Program Note：

This piano solo piece was inspired by Picasso's famous painting "Guernica". The painting reflects the cruelty of the war through miserable scenes of ruthless destruction and death. The composer exploits a style of minimal music to express people's horrors under the raging of the war. A chaotic mindset is induced by torturous pain, agonizing yelling, and desperate escape. In today's turbulent world, we are reminded once again the scourge and terror that the war could bring.
