Cosimo Bombardieri

Founder and principal conductor of the "A. Sersale" youth orchestra, he is considered a promising young conductor. He has a decade-long active record of numerous concerts both in Italy and abroad with a repertoire ranging from the 1700s to the present. They include the concert Wellingtons Sieg oder die Schlacht bei Vittoria by L.V. Beethoven at the Greek Theater of Roccabernarda (IT) with the Orchestra of Calabria; at the Viscogliosi Castle with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Benevento (Frosinone); the concert for young talents with the Symphony Orchestra of Klaipeda (Lithuania) at the State Music Theatre; concerts with the AMI Orchestra at the Stable Theater of Isola del Liri; with the Stylus Orchestra he has performed numerous concerts including one for the two hundredth anniversary of the Carabinieri Corps with the presence of the General (Calabria); the concert at the Ennio Morricone Auditorium (University of TorVergata - Rome) with the Roma Sinfonietta orchestra for the 250th anniversary of the birth of composer L. van Beethoven; he was guest conductor at the opening concert for the Myliu Palanga International Festival with the Palanga Town orchestra (Lithuania); he recovered and readapted music from the period of the French Revolution (Gossec, Catel, Mehul), with first performance in modern times at the Italian Army Band, under his direction; he reworked in a modern key the solo concertos of N. Rimsky-Korsakov, performed under his direction with the orchestra of the Conservatory of Cosenza. With his orchestra he has made of more than one hundred concerts in southern Italy with renowned artists, receiving awards and acclaim as a young conductor.  

He collaborates with the following institutions: Calliope chamber orchestra, Klaipeda State Music Theatre (LT), Cilea Clarinet Choir, Wind Orchestra of Pazzano, Palanga Town orchestra (LT), Benevento Philharmonic, Orchestra of the Accademia Musicale Isolana, Italian Army Band, Orchestra Conservatorio di Cosenza (IT), Orchestra Teatro F. Cilea , Opera Nationala Timisoara (RO), Opera Na?ional? Cluj-Napoca (RO), Roma Sinfonietta.

Appointments as Artistic Director: International Contest of Composition "Hymn of Valcamonica" (2022); ANBIMA provincial of Brescia (2022), OFB of Brescia (2023).

In addition to his activity as Conductor he alternates with that of Composition gaining success internationally with prizes and performances. (v. Music)
