Program notes:

Composed in July 2019. When I imagined the tension between the contrabass and vibraphone facing each other, I saw the dice spinning freely. No one can predict what lies beyond the bounce. Sometimes it is the bustle of the city, sometimes it is jazz music that I have heard before, and sometimes it is a folk song that I play with my hands. The piece became a collage of vague memories within me. During the ensemble rehearsal, I decided to ask them to play on electric bass for volume and intensity. Come to think of it, I vaguely recalled that my mother once started sending me to violin lessons because she wanted me to become a guitarist.
