Program notes:

The boundary between Kyoto Prefecture and Osaka Prefecture is famous for agar,and since the fall of 2021, I have often attended training around that area. I even felt as if I could hear some kind of music when I looked at the climate. In addition, I wanted to have Mr. Aoki, who is a horn player in the Osaka Symphony Orchestra, play music related to the Kansai region, so I worked on the composition inspired by the "Kanten Tsukuri-uta(Making Agar Song)” that has been passed down in this area.The lyrics of this agar song are interesting. "I love Winter Season’s agar, I love Summer Season’s TOKOROTEN, I love you All Season’s." While creating such an atmosphere, it became a capriccio that added the quote of that composer when speaking of horns. Dedicated to Hiroaki Aoki.
