(IT) Il Giorno degli Eroi e il 30 Ottobre 1917, giorno in cui, dopo la sconfitta di Caporetto, la Brigata perse in battaglia circa la meta due suoi 968 uomini. Ispirato da quel tragico evento, ho immaginato un brano che descrive la completa insensatezza e la drammatica inutilita della guerra. La struttura de “Il Giorno degli Eroi” e costantemente frammentata e incompleta, in una parola, insensata.  Si pone come un potente grido contro la guerra.

(EN) Heroes' Day (Il Giorno degli Eroi) is October 30, 1917, the day on which, after the defeat at Caporetto, the Brigade lost almost half of its 968 men. Inspired by this tragic historical event, I envisioned a piece that captures the utter senselessness and dramatic futility of war. Consequently, the structure of "Il Giorno degli Eroi" is constantly fragmented and incomplete - in a word, absurd. It stands as a powerful cry against war.
