Yet, the concept of oneness is full of divine simplicity which traverses through time and space infinitely. The piece begins with tone D and ends in tone A and for most of the time, various consonant intervallic materials are superimposed with each other throughout the whole piece. Most importantly, ostinato figures most often juxtapose with static consonant tones for generating substantial tone colors in different registers during the course of the piece. During a meeting with her, a story came up saying, “I like Hakushu Kitahara, a poet from the same birthplace (Chikugo, Fukuoka Prefecture)”. I gave some candidates, and finally I chose my favorite “SUNAYAMA” (composed by Shinpei Nakayama). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe music begins with the original “Sunayama” after a short introduction. It will be played twice, but the second time it will change the harmony boldly, and the clarinet will decorate the “Sunayama” played by the piano ([A]). In return, this work is an \"Improvisation\" composed in about 1 hour in Nozomi 343, which was on the move on August 17, 2019, on the day of the 36th birthday of Shoichi Yabuta.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“It's good to try to imitate the technique of a composer in one of the ways to learn composition, that is, to learn,” said Dr. Michio Mamiya. I express my appreciation for the music time that I had done with Mr. Yabuta, and I express my utmost respect for Mr. Yabuta's style. Based on Mr. Yabuta's 36th birthday, it is composed of 36 measures, followed by a time signature of 1\/4, 2\/4, which also represents Mr. Yabuta's life. In other words, I will compose 37\/4, the 37th measure in 2020. This is a work that suggests a dialogue between composer and performer.  The composition is based on the image that 1\/4 is 1-year-old Mr. Yabuta, 2\/4 is 2-year-old. It was a long time ago when I met him, so I wrote it with my imagination, but during childhood I focused on listening to the reverberation. Adolescents are particularly silent, and he continue to grope for who he is, and express his youthful passion with vigorous phrases for adolescents. I hope it will serve as a concert etude for vibraphone. And, my appreciation of his support and memory with him are connected to this work; A Circumnavigation of “Biwako” Lake. \u003cbr\u003eThis song was composed for Boat Circle of the “Third High School” (present “Kyoto University”), and kept sung by students. My Grand father always sang this song when he was drinking. When I was little, I didn’t understand the meaning of lyrics. \u003cbr\u003eBut, I know that this song is his favorite, in my memory. With a remembrance, I tried to arrange and play this work by the Vibraphone. And, in the Autumn of 2014, I played this work at my Vibraphone recital, firstly, and then, continued to play this work in many events.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn the Winter of 2019, Shuhei Umemoto (Mr.) asked me about publishing of the work. I didn’t write the score, because I had no idea about publishing of this work. So, I tried to write the score of this work, one by one, and it was quite interesting. The heart-shaped red beans are the seeds of Adenanthera pavonina, which is a tree growing in the southern part of China and South Asia. The poet extended the nostalgic thoughts on red beans to admiration and yearning for friends far away. Structured on the basis of fifth interval, the music proceeds with variations on the inversions. The accompaniment was supposed to be a piece on its own and it’s based on a sequence of chords that is repeated six times during the piece, with different articulations. It is based on the counterpoint of the two voices but I wanted to focus more on the effects created by overlapping and crossing between the two voices (hands) and in the final part I’ve used the sostenuto pedal (middle pedal) to achieve a very special kind of resonance. The piece begins with a cadenza (which is usually played near the ending of a sonata) and the melodic material gets gradually simplified until it reaches the final part (Lento) which is meant to be played in a very simple and almost neutral sound. For every repetition I have also wrote down my own ornamentations and sometimes I’ve used the repetitions to create a different arrangement of the same material: these variations are only a suggestion and you can easily skip them if you just want to play your own ornamentations or just go to the next section.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eFor the source material I’ve used the manuscript and Francesco Malipiero’s transcription of the work: I’ve decided not to include any symbols or articulations not present in the manuscript: what you find in the first part of each movement is very accurate to what Vivaldi wrote. After receiving Tanikawa's permission to use the poem, we began composing, and were overwhelmed by the breadth of the poetry and music contained in the poem.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn my composition \"Sougaku,\" one person breathes into a single instrument and plays a variety of music, including Western, Eastern, and contemporary music.
